I can’t state enough how intense the fighting has gotten in Gaza. Early in the war, you could get away with posting an update every 3-4 days, now I’m wondering if I should post an update every single day.
For example, Al Qassam, Hamas’ military arm, has partially or fully destroyed 28 IDF vehicles in the past 24 hours alone. Bear in mind that Al Qassam is just one group, there are several others working in tandem to destroy military vehicles, and attack any IDF gatherings and fortifications.
If this does not sound a lot to you, remember that Israel brought 1,300-1500 tanks into Gaza. Losing 28 vehicles in a single day is a big blow by all measurements especially when all you have to show for it is civilian massacres (that is losing you allies and support). There were that many vehicles to begin with because the IDF forces are understandably too frightened to fight outside of fortified vehicles.
It has never been more clear that this is a war Israel will lose and the loss will get more dire the longer the army remains in Gaza.

Our colleague, Mohammed was here only half an hour ago. And now he has departed us and he lies here dead with his wife and his child and his brother, along with a lot of his family who are also victims here inside this hospital.
remember how i said israel has to expressly permit any entry or exit even through egypt’s border with gaza? and that this has always been the case and why gaza is considered an ‘open air prison?’
israel is now not allowing irish or brazilian citizens in gaza waiting at the border because their countries called for a ceasefire. it is effectively holding them hostage in gaza as it bombs them. insofar it has bombed the rafah border with egypt five times, and bombed injured evacuees in ambulances en route to the border too.
rogue state, terrorist country, accountable to no one and immune to consequences. israel continues to make a mockery of international law.
just to be completely clear, the amount of military power and political influence Israel has has NOTHING to do with its settlers being Jewish. Israel is a force for American & European interests in the region and they’re just doing what America does and allows/encourages its close allies to do.
war crimes aren’t considered war crimes when someone America finds useful is doing them. european and american pushback against anyone criticizing Israeli apartheid & genocide is 100% because these crimes are useful to American & European hegemony.
Governments that are deeply antisemitic, like France, aren’t suddenly caring about Jewish people. Jewish people, persecuted the world over, don’t hold some kind of hegemonic power outside of Israel.
The state of Israel and its attendant brutal treatment of the locals are both incredibly useful to the US, and American hegemony means we’re expected to celebrate both.

This is exactly it. Israel doesn’t control the US, the US uses Israel as a military outpost in the Middle East and doesn’t care who it has to hurt to keep it that way.
for those of you who don’t know by now, the reason why people are boycotting Starbucks is because workers united made a post publicly “declaring solidarity with Palestine” on @sbworkersunited on Twitter. The corporation is suing the union because of that tweet. The boycotts are working, the employees are quitting, people aren’t showing up to Starbucks all over the world. Share prices are low, it’s working. Boycott Starbucks.
Also McDonald’s has been providing free meals to IDF soldiers in !sr3al so f*ck them too.
